FIRST I went to Bath, for my brothers 21st birthday treat, and I got to go to Urban Outfitteres, which is, by far, my absolute favourite shop in the whole entire world and if I had the money I would buy all my clothes from there!
First thing I bought were these cute patterns trousers, I love patterned trousers, and think that this is a really cool smart addition to help create my boho look! They are a dark navy, they could even pass for a black with a 'aztecy' square pattern in red, they're very thin and always feel very cool even when its very hot! I like to wear them with the bottoms tucked up as I think this is more slimming, because you can see my ankle so gives my leg more shape. Coming into autum I would wear this maybe with a baggy jumper and a big necklace. Although these were £38, I had a voucher to get 15% off and always find Urban Outfitters clothes to be such good quality!
Next thing I bought was this SUPER cute playsuit/pinafore/dress. I absolutely LOVE paisley, like you don't even understand I LOVE it. This paisley is just so cute, it's really stylish in this burgundy dark colours and its honestly just a dream. It also has really cute buttons where the shoulder straps meet the body of the pinafore and along one of the sides. It also has pockets, which for someone who doesn't always like carrying around her bag, are just perfect so slip my phone into! I completely love this and had been looking at it for ages wanting to try it on! It is quite baggy but I think it is meant to be like that, it looks nice with or without tights and I would wear this either alone, or with a cream top/jumper/shirt as I think that you really don't want to take away from the pattern and some cute brown boots or converse! It was £48 but again I used my voucher and it has been a total love story for me and this pinafore.
Last thing that I bought from 'Urbs' was this cute little vest for £12 which I thought was an amazing bargain! The pattern reminds me of patterns that were around from my childhood, I think it was my parents just being stuck it the 80's really, but we had a similar pattern on just about everything, curtain, sofa, rug, jacket, but anyway I still love it. I wore it recently with a nude colour maxi skirt and really liked that but you could just about wear it with anything, pair of black jeans perhaps? It is quite baggy but again I like that because it looks 'slouchy' and dare I say quite cool!
Next I went to the nearest shopping centre near me and that is West Quay, Southampton with my friend Abi...
First we went to New Look to look at the bras, I thought about not including this because it's a bit raunchy and didn't want to offend anyone, but then I decided I am a normal girl, we all wear bras, it's not like I'm baring all! So anyway, I am blessed with a larger chest than average, so I can only really buy my bras from the Kelly Brook section or Marks and Spencers mainly, which is all well and good but they are very expensive. I always think that I look out of proportion cause I'm so short and my boobs just sort of intrude my whole look but I always try and wear things that cover them up! Anyway, the top one was £16.99 and the bottom was £12.99, so pretty good really, I have only worn the bottom one so far but it is so comfy and makes me feel quite secure and happy. I would always recommend trying on a bra before you buy it, even if its from the same shop, because these are two different sizes!
Next Abi and I went to Primark, sadly though half of it was closed as they are 'revamping' the one in Southampton. I had first seen this shirt in blue, and didn't buy it as I wasnt 100% sure, but straight away I regretted it so went back to buy it and it had gone!!!!!!! sad Cassie, but this time I saw it in black, not as nice as the blue one but for £10 you cant really go wrong. I think I will probably wear this with black jeans and a nice red lipstick! Super sexy!**did I really just say that???**
OK as you can see this photo is bigger than the rest, that is because this dress was an absolute BARGAIN! it was, wait for, drum roll please, £8!!!!!!! It is so flattering and I really love the pattern on it, argh I am just so pleased with myself for finding this, honestly, if you see it in your local Primark just buy it! you will not regret it!
So.. this is a weird one, but I actually had to pop into Asda the other day, not something I usually do as we usually do our food shopping online, but we were driving past and needed something so we popped in! and I actually picked up some cool pj's, a dressing gown, a lush belt and....,..
these shorts! Don't quote me on this but I think they were about £12, I absolutely love tartan as I am half Scottish, I know they're a bit random and not to everyone's taste but I really like them and am glad I bought them!
Last, but not least
I thought I would just mention these socks, they're also from Asda, they are SO cute, but I thought I would mention them as they are in an amazing deal, so usually they would be £1.50, still a pretty good bargain, but they were 3 for £4 so naturally I induldged, got two pairs of these and a different pair for my mum. If you're in Asda, go have a look.... so worth it!
OK so I know that was a pretty long post just about clothes but I thought if you just have a quick slide down and see something you like you can just read it and see what I think!:) I hope you have all bought cool stuff over the summer and are all ready for Autumn! Thanks for Reading :D
